A one hundred per cent Sangiovese resulting from an accurate selection in the vineyard, followed by an aging period of 18 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Tasty, intense, balanced and full-bodied. On the nose, it is intense, with aromas of alcohol-infused cherries, a hint of undergrowth and a rich spiciness where laurel dominates. The mouthfeel is balanced and strong with a great progression ending in a pleasant finish in the tones of licorice.
