It would have been enough to keep on tracing the groove of a family history almost six-hundred years old, but ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ผ ๐๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ wanted to look further. In 1970 he began to work on the composition of ๐ง๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ผ until he reached the final blending in 1982: 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. Only produced in the best vintages, what was just a pioneering project about 50 years ago is nowadays a national and international icon.
Compact and bright ruby red colour. To the nose intense and charming scents of blackberries, blueberries, fresh pepper leaf and liquorice touches. The mouthfeel is rich and dense, with iodine tannins, balsamic notes and a very long persistence.
