A nice Gran Selezione from 100% Sangiovese grapes by Castello di Meleto. Notes of marasca cherries under spirit on the nose, then iris and wild sage touches. The mouthfeel is brackish-sapid, with balsamic-fruity and floral return. Great density and persistent finish.
